Technical Data, Description:
The company EŽ Praha a.s. realized a complete reconstruction of the technological equipment in the Pankrác station. It is divided into two parts, high voltage (HV) which includes 22 kV switchboards and cables connecting the individual substations of Pankrác – Budějovická and Pankrác – Pražského Povstání stations and low voltage (LV) which includes other switchboards, equipment and cables. All transformers were replaced with new ones, the 22 kV switchboard was replaced and expanded due to the projected route D. The traction block was completely replaced, including rectifiers, chargers and station batteries. The supply, return and signaling traction lines, including traction jumpers, were replaced. The obsolete and no longer produced automatic dispatch control system has been replaced by a new one.
All technology in metro substations is doubled so that it can immediately switch to backup in the event of a failure. It was necessary to maintain the operation of the substation throughout the reconstruction, ie its backup part, a diesel generator had to be placed in front of the metro building, which served as a backup when switching the old technology to the new one.
