Tram lines 750 V DC:

• overhead lines with fixed suspension – uncompensated, use in depots, support span up to 25 metres;
• overhead lines, simple flexible – uncompensated, use on lines with speeds up to 60 km/h (especially inside cities and where there are complex directional conditions, e.g. in curves), support span up to 30 metres;
• overhead contact line, plain flexible with suspension rope (delta suspension) – uncompensated, mainly used on straight lines, support span up to 35 metres;
• overhead contact line with suspension rope – compensated by a weight, mainly used on straight lines and for suburban railways and high-speed railways, speed 80 – 100 km/h,
• length of the anchor section up to 1 400 m, span of supports up to 54 m;
• chain cable overhead line (with supporting rope) – compensated by weights, use for suburban railways and high-speed railways, speed over 100 km/h, length of the anchorage
• span up to 1,400 metres, span of supports up to 60 metres.

Trolleybus lines 600 V DC, 750 V DC:

• overhead lines, plain with fixed suspension – uncompensated, limited use (e.g. in rolling stock depots);
• flexible overhead line – partially compensated, used on straight lines with speeds up to 60 km/h, length of overhead wire suspension 25 – 40 cm, possibility of using additional rope, support span approx. 30 m;
• plain overhead line fully compensated – with additional rope, used on straight lines with speed up to 80 km/h, length of the anchor field 1 200 – 1 400 m, span of supports 40 – 50 m;
• simple compensated line – chain line, used on straight lines with speed over 80 km/h, length of anchorage field 1 200 – 1 400 m, span of supports 60 m.
