The construction was realized to create a new pedestrian zone in the center of Pardubice. EŽ Praha provided a complete reconstruction of the trolleybus overhead contact line, extended by a new OCT in Sladkovského Street.
The foundations for the masts were drilled, the pile is made of a 4 or 6 m long steel pipe fitted into the foundations. A total of 40 tubular masts, partly combined with public lighting, were built.
The overhead contact line is simple, non-tensioned, with flexible hinges. Supporting net of stainless steel ropes is suspended on existing hinges on houses and new masts, part of the track is made with side laminate cantilevers. Three sets of electrical switches, 3 sets of mechanical switches (including one ES and MS in the form of a crossover switch) and one crossing of trolleybus tracks included in the delivery. The total length of the new 100 mm2 contact wire was 3,950 m.
